Boomu Women’s Group
Boomu Women’s Group is a cute budget place to camp just outside Murchison Falls National Park. It is a community-run lodge, managed by local women.
Located 500 metres before the southern park entrance (so you avoid paying park fees), close to Kanyiyo Pabidi Forest where chimp tracking is possible. You can also sleep in a traditional grass-thatched banda, set in their beautiful garden, for Ush 20,000 per person. Meals can be provided. It is a community-run project.
